WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A REAL ESTATE PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICE?

Faster Sales

“Professional Real Estate Photography Sells Homes 32% Faster

Ability to Attract Qualified Buyers

More than 86 percent of home buyers now shop for homes in Perth and Australia on line like Domain.com.au , Realestate.com.au and REIWA.com.au. A reputable real estate photography service like Lightspeed photography who specialises in Real estate photography is essential to producing  the photos, videos and aerial (drone) images to give your listing that added edge to effect a sale.

High-Quality Images

With the skills of professional real estate photography providers like Lightspeed Photography, you will always have images that no amateur can produce. Front views are taken from the best vantage points, with excellent curb appeal and blue skies that entice buyers. Interior photos come out with mood and with well-aligned vertical and horizontal lines. A professional photographer can help you get the high-resolution real estate photos your are envisioning for your listing.

A Powerful First Impression

These days, most property buyers start their search online. This gives the Real Estate Agent only a few seconds to make a powerful first impression in the mind of a prospective buyer. Low-quality photos taken with a smartphone will not have the wide angles, accurate colour separation, alignment and professional editing provided by a residential real estate photographer. Hiring a professional photographer for real estate listings provides great benefit.

Attract More Home Sellers

After you invest in a professional real estate photographer, you can use the superior-quality images to showcase your outstanding services to future home sellers. Support your marketing efforts with our professional photography for your real estate listing. Your one-time investment in top-quality real estate photos will continue to help you attract more leads and clients and increase your listing base.

LOCAL REAL ESTATE PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICE

Working with a professional real estate photography service provider is no longer optional for Real Estate Agents who want to:

  • Quickly attract the most qualified buyers to schedule a showing
  • Create emotional impressions that allow for higher sales prices
  • Build a solid reputation that beats the competition
  • And to generate more listings

A Real Estate Agent has the training and skills to help people sell homes, but they do not have the skills of a professional real estate photographer. That’s why it’s smarter to hire a professional real estate photography service such as Lightspeed instead of struggling to use a point-and-shoot camera or smartphone, and trying to create mood and atmosphere to produce professional photography for a real estate listing.

FAQs

Q : How long will it take?

A  : Residential real estate photography of a standard sized home (3bed 2bath) should take about an hour and a half depending on the number of photos.  Larger homes will of course take more time and if de-cluttering is need can take a lot longer depending on the amount.

Q : What do we need to do before you come?

A : Remember that presentation is king you have less than 30 sec to impress the buyer, so you have to stand out from the rest. This starts with de-clutter and presentation, little things like the colour temp of the lights to be the same down lights especially. The side lights to be warm (2700K) to add atmosphere. But refer to get home ready PDF. Click here

Q : Are you able to travel to photograph my project?

A : Yes, I am available to travel for your photography projects.  Travel expenses are billed at cost to the client.

Q : Do you retain the copyright to your images or are those transferred to me when I buy prints or digital images?

A : Yes, I retain the copyrights as is standard practice in the photography industry.  You purchase a  single use, non-transferable, non-exclusive image license.  For real estate agents that image license is good for the duration of your listing and expires once the listing is sold, cancelled or reassigned to another company.  For all others the license does not expire. This is a non-transferable license, meaning you, as the licensee, may not sell, give or loan the photos to any other party. You do have wide leverage to use them for your marketing and promotional needs, however.  This license is also non-exclusive, meaning the copyright holder may sell multiple licenses for the same images.  See a sample licensing agreement here.

Q : How do I make payments?

A : we accept payment by cash, Visa, Mastercard, EFT (electronic funds transfer right from your bank account) the bank details will be provided on the invoice, when paying please put inv as reference.

Q : Do I have to meet you at the home to give you access?

A : No, you can simply provide your lock-box number or we can pick up the key in the office. Of course, you are also always welcome to meet me at the home and hang out during the photo shoot.

Q : What if the weather is bad on the day of my shoot?

A  : If the weather is bad on the day of your scheduled shoot (i.e. rain, heavy clouds and the like) you will be given the opportunity to reschedule for the next available open shoot date.  If you choose to proceed with the shoot as scheduled, regardless of the weather, please understand that the listed pricing does not include fixing photos for cloudy skies and such and the standard guarantee will no longer apply. Check the Weather Policy.

Q : Can you just PhotoShop that?

A : PhotoShop is an awesome tool with a lot of power.  However, nothing replaces making sure the home is photo ready when the photographer arrives.  PhotoShop does not do windows, clean floors, put the kids toys away or play gardener.  Keep in mind that the home will look as good in photos as it does in person. Treat your Photo shoot day as Home Open as this is what the photos are.

Q : How much notice do you need to schedule my photo shoot?

A : Ideally, for day time photo shoots  2 – 4 days’ notice should be provided in order to get your preferred date and time.  I can occasionally accommodate last minute requests, but it is best not to rely on that.  Twilight photo shoots are very popular and tend to fill up quicker.  The more notice you can provide the better.

Q : What are your hours? Do you have availability on weekends and holidays?

A : Photo shoots are scheduled week days from 6 am through twilight (note, the exact time of twilight varies through the year). Photo shoot appointments are available on the weekends or holidays at request,  please send an email or text so we can see if we can accommodate your needs.

Q : When will I get my finished images?

A : Normally you should allow 24- 48 hrs to receive your digital files.  If you have a deadline, please make sure you book me well in advance. And email or text me as we can rush jobs if needed in the same day.

Q : Flying in Restricted air space.

A : You may not be aware that there is areas in Perth and the surrounding area that flying a drone is prohibited, but we do have a CASA compliant process that allows us to achieve drone images of your property. We can achieve a maximum altitude of 30m.

But all drone shoots are subject to pilots discresion and CASA regulations .

Weather Policy

Although inclement weather is rare in Perth and the Peel region it does happen from time to time. So just in case, please review the weather policy so you know what your options will be on those rare cloudy and rainy days.

In the event of unfavourable weather on the day of your shoot, you may opt to reschedule for our next available opening.

You may also opt to proceed with the shoot as originally scheduled regardless of weather conditions.  In this case please understand that your photos will reflect the weather conditions at the time of the shoot – clouds, rain, etc.  Prices do not include digital processing to correct for unfavourable weather conditions (clouds, rain, etc) when and if those corrections are possible.

In some severe weather conditions, we cannot risk damage to the camera equipment and will not be able to shoot regardless.  In those instances, your shoot may be rescheduled for our next available opening.

A special note for twilight shoots:  Western Australia has spectacular sunsets are the normal but there are days that are not.  We are not able to predict, with any degree of accuracy, what the sunset will look like on the evening your shoot is scheduled.  This weather policy does not apply to the look of the sky as it relates to the sunset.  You are free to book an additional shoot at cost if the sunset does not turn out as you need it.
